Tim Wang

Tianyin (Tim) Wang is a contemporary artist specialising in charcoal drawings inspired by the movement, energy, and beauty of the natural world. Developing his distinctive style of “motion impressionism,” Tim uses layered charcoal techniques and freehand mark-making to capture atmosphere, contrast, and emotion without the use of guidelines. With a background in illustration from Arts University Bournemouth and experience working with leading editorial clients, Tim brings a unique combination of precision, movement, and expressive depth to his artwork. Now based in London, his work reflects a personal interpretation of nature through the simplicity and honesty of drawing.
