Mel is a contemporary artist inspired by the beauty, colour, and delicate movement of nature, with a particular fascination for hummingbirds. Working from her rural Norfolk studio, Mel layers paint, texture, and metallic accents such as gold and copper leaf to create richly detailed backgrounds, resulting in distinctive pieces that celebrate the wonder of the natural world.
