Jo Starkey

This artist is a contemporary painter inspired by the beauty, tranquillity, and ever-changing character of the natural world. Growing up in the East Midlands with a strong artistic heritage, she developed a deep connection with nature and creative expression from an early age. Now based in rural Sussex, she creates richly layered acrylic and mixed-media works, combining texture, metallic accents, and vibrant colour to capture atmospheric landscapes with a contemporary and ethereal quality. Drawing inspiration from her own photography, her artwork reflects a personal interpretation of the natural world, with pieces exhibited and collected across the UK and internationally.
