Craig Foord

Craig John Foord is a contemporary British artist and sculptor whose work is inspired by the relationship between nature, organic form, and the mysteries of the universe. After studying Art and Design at Eastbourne College, he combined his background as a professional tree surgeon with his passion for sculpture, developing a distinctive practice that transforms resin into striking freestanding artworks. Beginning each sculpture with a chainsaw before refining and polishing every surface by hand, Craig creates fluid, tactile forms that reflect the raw beauty of the natural world. Alongside his sculpture, he produces expressive abstract paintings influenced by his fascination with space exploration, bringing together texture, colour, and movement in works that explore both the earthly and the cosmic.
