A new chapter for independent art has arrived in St Albans.
OCA Gallery has officially opened, bringing a fresh destination for contemporary artwork, limited editions, original paintings and collectable pieces to the heart of the city. Located on Holywell Hill, the gallery replaces the long-established Vache Bleue Galleries with an entirely new identity and vision focused on making art more accessible while championing both emerging and established artists.
The launch marks more than a simple name change. OCA Gallery has been built from the ground up with a renewed focus on independent artists, carefully curated exhibitions and a welcoming space where visitors can discover artwork without the intimidation often associated with traditional galleries.

Before officially opening our doors, we had the pleasure of welcoming friends, artists, collectors and members of the local community to our exclusive VIP launch evening.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening such a success. Seeing the gallery full of conversation, excitement and a shared appreciation for independent art made the occasion incredibly special. The support we’ve received since announcing OCA Gallery has been overwhelming, and the launch event was the perfect way to begin this new chapter.
It was fantastic to meet so many new faces, reconnect with familiar ones and celebrate the opening together. We hope everyone who joined us enjoyed the evening as much as we did.
