Introducing Anna Moses
We're pleased to welcome Anna Moses to OCA Gallery. Anna is a UK-based fine artist working in large abstract landscapes, most of them washed in gold, soft neutrals and earthy browns, the kind of paintings that ask you to slow down. This is her launch with us, and her original works are available exclusively in store at OCA Gallery.

A world of gold and quiet
Anna paints mostly in acrylic on canvas, layering colour and texture until each piece has real depth to it. Her subjects sit somewhere between landscape and dream: golden skies, still water, swans crossing a misty horizon, the moon low over a valley. Titles like In My Dreams, the Sky Is Golden, Tales of the Moon and Golden Silence of Como tell you where her head is. Light and gold run through nearly everything she makes, and they give the work a quiet warmth.
There's weather in her paintings too. Pieces such as Through the Storms, Towards the Light and Eye of the Storm move from unease to something settled, and that arc is part of why people connect with them.
New ground in oil and florals
Anna has recently started painting flowers in oil, a change of pace from her larger abstract landscapes. Oils let her slow right down and work the delicate, intricate forms of a flower with the same layered richness she brings to her skies. It's a newer direction for her, and one worth watching.
Made for the wall
Anna's paintings are built for modern interiors. The neutral and earthy tones sit well in most rooms, and the larger canvases, many of them a metre or more across, hold a wall on their own. Framed and hung, a piece like this becomes the thing a room is arranged around, and that's where we come in.
Available exclusively in store
Anna's originals are launching with us and can be found only at OCA Gallery. Photographs never do this kind of work justice: the texture, the gold, and the way the colour shifts as you move past it all come alive in person. Come and see the collection in store, where our own framing team can help you choose the right piece and finish it ready to hang.
Anna is also an exhibiting artist with a solo show coming this spring, and you can follow her studio and her new floral series on Instagram at @annamoses_art. To own an original, though, you'll find them with us.
